The new coffee area has exploded with a dark chocolatey, fruity flavour straight from the Fazenda Malhada farm. What's new about Ronaldinho coffee is not only the country of origin, but also the coffee variety.
The Catucai Amarelo 2SL variety is the result of crossing two separate plants, the original aim being to ensure high yields while maintaining high quality. Its flavour profile is balanced with a full body, often with chocolate, nutty and fruity notes in the beverage it is used to make.
After harvesting, the flesh is removed from the grains at the farms using a dry (Natural) process.
