Geisha coffee from El Salvador.
From the farm of Fernando Lima, this coffee perfectly embodies the special characteristics of the variety. Exceptional quality is combined with an exceptional flavour profile, dominated in this case by peach and papaya with a slight tea-like silkiness.
The Geisha variety is most often described as having a clean acidity, citrusiness and medium body. In addition, floral and tropical fruit aromas can be detected.
On the farms, after the coffee fruit has been harvested, all the beans, including the pulp, are sun-dried. This type of process often takes days or even weeks for the fruit to reach the right level of dryness. This results makes a stronger, fruitier flavour.
